True Sonic Fan [troo son-ik fan] n. A fan/supporter of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise in a positive way; one who protects a character(s) from the franchise for a good reason; one who is probably against forms of yaoi, yuri, or possibly hentai included.

i guess a "true sonic fan" is probably one who doesn't hate on/bash any character for a reason like a character that gets in the way of another relationship they like.
A fan that likes to represent the characters positively and in a non-negative light; probably meaning keeping away from smut i guess...
uhhh and probably ones that don't give a bad name to sonic fans in general; i think you could figure out on your own the "bad" sonic fans.
lol i've never been very good at describing things in general, but i hope this is somewhat acceptable. XD; Though I personally think it's more like what you believe makes a true sonic fan, not what others think. (even meaning the definition of the club's "true sonic fan")
Some people think that classical fans are the true sonic fans while others believe that sonic fans are ones that enjoy all the sonic games. It's really what you believe makes a true sonic fan.

I use to dislike Julie because I liked Rouge x Knuckles more, but that actually is mostly thanks to my friend who I thought had a problem with us doing a RougexKNuckles rp.
So other then Chris, I dont have any chars I hate that much. Besides, why waste paper with hate art?
I believe a true sonic fan shouldn't have a metal pole up their butt and think the series will actually be fixed and saved by making it only Sonic and Eggman. If you dont like the game, okay, if you think that the old games were better, okay, does that give you the right to shove it down other peoples throats and wish for the death of sonic or all its chars in favor of being 16 bit again? No.
I have my own reasons for liking this series, so unless there's something else, I personally think I am a true sonic fan. Yeah, I didnt play the genesis games until later in my life and started out on 3d sonic games like Sonic Adventures, but hey, at least I don't think my word is final.
